Project L33T was originally released by Holmgard Games. After entering Early Access, the game did not generate enough revenue to support further development, and investor backing was eventually withdrawn.
We are a small team and longtime fans of the genre. We took over this project because we believed it needed a new direction and a stronger long-term foundation. Over the past year, we negotiated to take over the project and continue development ourselves. Since then, we have been redesigning the game from the ground up to bring it back as a stronger, more focused hardcore extraction shooter. The game is no longer designed around short, isolated match sessions. Instead, we are building a large persistent open-world extraction shooter. Our current Early Access world is approximately 5 to 6 square kilometers in size. For comparison, based on an Escape from Tarkov community map size breakdown shared here h

our current playable world is roughly on the scale of all major Tarkov maps combined into one continuous open space, rather than split into separate raid maps. That comparison is still an estimate, but it reflects the direction of our design very well.
We have also added a separate PvE mode, available that is free for all players, with its own character and inventory, fully separated from PvP progression.
Over the last year, we have reworked major parts of the project and reshaped its direction in a fundamental way. More details on gameplay, progression, systems, and content changes are coming soon.
