🔧 Major VRAM Optimization Update
I've completed a massive texture memory optimization pass across the entire game.
▸ Video memory usage reduced by over 70%
▸ Recommended VRAM: 8 GB → 6 GB
▸ Minimum VRAM: 4 GB (previously unplayable)
What changed:
- Reprocessed and optimized hundreds of textures across UI, weapons, animals, environments, and billboards
- Fixed uncompressed textures that were consuming excessive memory
- Reduced non-streaming memory footprint significantly
What this means for you:
- Significantly less stuttering on mid-range GPUs
- Players with 4 GB VRAM cards (e.g. GTX 1650, GTX 1050 Ti) can now run the game
- Faster texture streaming with fewer pop-ins across all hardware
- Smoother experience overall, especially when encountering multiple animals
