Project Colored Mountains changes
The 0.2.0 update is out now!
It took a while (one year plus a 10-hour build) but the game is now playable.
This update includes:
A new "Soccer-Golf" course with 14 holes!
Kick the ball around for 20-40 minutes depending on your luck!
Complete a lot of levels (about 10)
Light shards are what I renamed completed levels to, but:
I will do more with these later.
They might get renamed to "Light Gems"
You now have a funny lil' trail following you. Also the animation when you jump has been changed.
Added a new level in the school area.
Introduced jump pads: they increase your speed and jump height while jumping off of them in a specific direction.
Fixed:
An issue introduced in patch 0.1.1 where you could not complete the level "Final Exam".
Another issue introduced in patch 0.1.1 where the pause menu could not be opened
A bug causing significant performance issues on Medium and High graphics settings when looking at a lot of grass.
The colors of all blocks that move you between levels is now blue.
The color of all in-level teleportation blocks is now green.
Fixed some input-related issues.
Known issues:
As of this moment, the ball does not reset when it falls off the golf course. This will be fixed within 30 minutes.
The lighting in the new school level does not match the color coding.
The overworld texture of the new school level is a jump pad for some reason. This will also be fixed within an hour.
Some issues using a controller in the pause menu's settings. Workaround: save and quit, adjust settings on the main menu, press continue.
The game does not yet save your progress in "Soccer-Golf" and you will have to do it in one sitting.
The final cutscene actually just has a screenshot for 5 seconds instead of a video at one point. Oops
