Added:

NEW GAME +

  • You can now start a new game after awakening the fourth moonlar dog, regardless of your karma level.

  • You start after the game's prologue.

  • All acquired Blood skills are now retained.

  • Weapon upgrades and Map progression are also retained.

  • All progression skills and collectables are reset, you only start with "dash" and "slide".

Enhanced UI

  • Karma now appears in the user interface as a gauge.

  • Local level keys now appears in the user interface for Ariesli Castle, Horn Peaks, High Observatory and Secret base.

Fixes:

  • Corabell 1st boss fight: Grabbing the key will unlock the area.

    Previously: after defeating Corabell, the area was unlocked.

    But if the player ignored the key, they could get softblocked.

  • adjusted BGM volume for Cutscenes

  • Fixed and removed some slopes in Nebula beach to prevent the player from getting stuck.

  • Rework of certain areas of Ariesli Castle. (prologue).

  • fixed screen filters in the ending scene.

  • A duplicate lore has been removed from Illeh Plains, resulting in 17 out of 16 lores.

Future plans and some thoughts.

  • Bypass the PGMMV limitations and include some form of better key remapping for the PC version. To do this, I have to tinker with the open-source player while retaining Steam achievements.

  • Have a fullscreen toggle and change fullscreen to borderless fullscreen.

I consider the game to be feature complete and almost bug-free, for now. Most of the issues, such as the linear level design and enemies getting “hyper armor,” are very difficult to fix at this moment. With this update, the game's development has spanned five and a half years, and I would like to focus on other things.

I've been learning how to use Unreal Engine 5 as a hobby and Godot Engine for a side job, so I hope that Princess Pomu will one day have a “director's cut” version where all the issues in the game have been fixed. and make that version free for current owners.

This is my first game, but also my dream game, and I know I didn't do well in choosing it as my first serious project, but I really like it and I'm not giving up yet. This project saved my life and I am very grateful for it.
