Rating of heroes in the "Frontier" mode and the announcement of new mechanics.
The ratings of heroes in the Hall of Fame for the Frontier mode will no longer change for games in other modes.
Upcoming hero ratings update. In more detail.
The account rating system was introduced more than a month ago, but the players had no motivation to get a high rating. De facto victories were "rewarded" only by weak allies. However, the rating of heroes has changed: now it becomes easier for a hero to get a high rating only with a high account rating. However, such a change could have gone unnoticed by many players. Due to the technical limitations of the game, it is not yet possible to display the account rating and the hero rating at the same time. Many players managed to get a high rating for the heroes a long time ago, even before the account rating appeared, not to mention that the rating could have been obtained in other modes.
The announcement of new mechanics. In more detail.
A rating degradation system will be introduced in a month. If a player has not played a hero in a certain mode for more than a month (only those played to the end of the game are counted), his rating will decrease daily, losing 1% of the accumulated rating over 1200 per week. For a player with a hero rating of 2000, this will be 1.6 rating units per day. For a player with a hero rating of 1600, this will be 0.8 ratings per day.
This solution will allow players who either haven't played for a long time or have earned a hero's rating dishonestly to "come down to earth". This will allow those players who truly deserve their place there to reach the top of the Hall of Fame! Also, this system will allow beginners to copy only the most relevant builds for today.
