Primal Lands Update V2.0
World Additions
Added additional movement directions for tribe members from four directions to eight, this allows pathfinding to be more diverse in traversing the land.
Added additional water patterns to include up to sixteen different varieties of water flow.
Added a new unique map and split the current map into its own unique map.
Mont Land
Mont Land is still the starting map and is generally the best map to play in terms of learning the basics of the game.
Resoures: Wood, stone, fish, berries and meat.
Enemies: Deer, saber tooth tiger, wolves, rhino and mammoth.
Generation: Trees, rivers, large rivers, stone, bushes and tribes.
Safari Desert
Safari Desert is generally a slightly harder to survive map as it is set out in the desert with hard to find resources and only the hardest hostile animals will spawn.
Resoures: Wood, stone, fish, berries and meat.
Enemies: Saber tooth tiger, wolves, rhino and mammoth.
Generation: Broken trees, stone and tribes.
Command Posts
Command posts are locked to the numpad (1 blue, 2 red, 3 green and 4 orange). You can now assign forteers to a command post by highlighting them with the Urok hand and clicking them in which they will be highlighted. You can unassign a tribe member by right clicking them in which they will return to their building. You can clear a command post by using (numpad 0) with a post highlighted in urok hand.
Worship Points and Urok Hand
Introducing worship points, each tribe members has an oppertunity to worship you as a god and increase your points. Points can now be spent on casting spells such as fire and water in future updates we will update a full skill tree which will use this feature.
New Animals
We have added wolves and rhinos to the mix of our already expanding animal kingdom. Wolves - will attack any tribe member in range and call nearby wolves to help them strike their targets. Wolves at night will also call out to summon more wolves. Rhinos - will attack directly in front of them charging and taking out any nearby object, animal or tribe member.
Other Additions
Added addition spawn generation for tree placement to make maps feel more dense.
Added a new building ForteerShack - this costs 20 wood to build and allows tribe members to be controlled to attack certain locations using the new command posts.
