What awaits you in the Ice Age DLC

1. Terrain adjustment - Bend the seasons to your will

For the first time ever, terrain can evolve twice!

  • Cover tiles in snow for +1 point

  • Melt snow into lush fields for another +1 point

    Use the new terrain adjustment cards - Small snow, Large snow, and Melt - to sculpt the perfect balance between frost and bloom.

2. Habitats - Adaptation is everything

Habitats now depend on tile color, just like in the Savanna expansion. The frozen frontier demands smart placement - only the most adaptable ecosystems will thrive.

4. Freshwater - Harness the power of ice and flow

The freshwater system gets a massive Ice Age overhaul:

  • Glacier - An improvement that snows all tiles within 2 tiles radius.

  • Glacial Trail - A frozen river that must begin at a Glacier and end on a green tile, where it forms a lake.

Harder to plan than regular rivers, but with incredible reward: +3 adjacency bonus for clever connections and trail design!

5. Wonders - The legendary great lakes

Five majestic new lake Wonders arrive with unique sizes and shapes! Place them on empty terrain, touching at least one lake formed at the end of a Glacial Trail, and enjoy powerful boosts to your global Glacial Trail adjacency bonuses.
