addedWe are currently working on a new level, and this is an early look at the found footage camera effect we are implementing. The level follows a news hunter capturing footage of an event she was never meant to witness, and we wanted the visual style to reflect that raw, unsettling feeling.
changedOn the technical side: as a general rule, any post-process effect that is specific to a gameplay moment rather than part of the overall scene should be applied exclusively to the player. To handle this, we created an actor component that manages a pool of up to 8 simultaneous post-process effects, which can be triggered and blended at will. This has proven to be a very flexible solution, as more complex visuals can be built by combining these effects in different ways.

This is still a work in progress, but we are happy with the direction it is heading.
