addedIn Soviet Russia, everything is completely opposite. First, almost everything here always looks abandoned. It may have once been new and refurbished, but we may only see it on the nostalgic postcards. There are always shabby walls, broken light bulbs, broken asphalt. No doubt there are some very fancy places, but most post-Soviet regular schools look like abandoned schools and regular hospitals like abandoned ones.

Let us tell you what this game is about.

In general, this is all about the horror of small towns in the former Soviet Union. It has it's own specifics which are different from what you usually see in American horror movies. The usual setting for a horror movie from popular culture -- an abandoned hospital, an abandoned house, a gloomy mansion, some distant rural communities with their strange hospitality practices... In short, these are places that a decent and reasonable person (i.e. moviegoer) will most likely never go to. You're all safe, dear consumer of mass culture.

We don't need to go to the movies to see horrors, most of us live in them. Do you remember that meme about Harold? Harold is from Hungary, and only a man with some Eastern European experience can have that peculiar stare. Let's call it Eastern European stare.

And that is our mission with this game, we are going to provide you with that sort of hidden pain in your eyes. This will be a game about watching terrible things that are not some crappy jumpscares. These ones just live right here. With us.

And here they are -- our team for that project. Meet the Babushka and the Pate.
