Currently in development by Duoyi Network, with key support from 505 Games, the upcoming game will share core features of the original Portal Knights, including sandbox, construction and role-playing elements, while introducing MMO mechanics. A demo of the MMO Free-to-Play version of Portal Knights will be showcased for the first time at China Joy, one of the most important digital entertainment events in the world, held in Shanghai from Aug. 2 though Aug. 5, 2019.
