We're the team of 3 people behind Populus Run, brought to you on Steam by an equally tiny publishing team. It's an unusual genre for Steam but we really believe we're making something that can bring a smile to your face on a rainy day, when you can't go out for a real jog.
We’re working hard to have Populus Run ready to release in early 2026 and we plan to be a part of the February Next Fest. This should give you the chance to try the game before its release and enjoy the amazing soundtrack for yourself!
More specifically, we are currently tweaking the difficulty, trying to find the… sweet spot between cozy and difficult. We are also experimenting with a sprint option to give you more control over your crowd. I mean, it's a cozy game but it should be Steam-cozy, right?
