Poly Bridge 2 changes
This update contains major changes and improvements to the online services for Poly Bridge 2:
Leaderboards and Workshop are now powered by Steam.
Gallery system switched to the better-performing version used in Poly Bridge 3.
Gallery is now fully available for Linux players.
Language Packs are now available in the in-game Workshop.
Username in leaderboards will always match your Steam username.
We have migrated as much content as possible, which includes:
10,677 workshop levels
311 workshop campaigns
37,051 gallery videos
All weekly challenges and weekly challenge leaderboards
Leaderboards have been fully reset, and there is an improved cheat detection system to keep the leaderboards fair. If you have scores you want to restore to the leaderboard, just simulate the level and your score will be uploaded. Any saved bridges for migrated Workshop levels are automatically detected.
Twitch support has been discontinued, as the ongoing costs for this feature are no longer justified by its limited usage.
Using Steam for Leaderboards and Workshop will significantly reduce the ongoing infrastructure costs for Poly Bridge 2, so we can continue to support online features indefinitely.
Mod Users: You will need to update to v0.9.8 of the PolyTech Framework for mods to work. Install location: https://github.com/PolyTech-Modding/PolyTechFramework/releases/tag/0.9.8
Thank you for playing Poly Bridge 2, and please reach out to support@drycactus.com if you have any questions.
