Today it's time to answer the question we left you with - what happens to a patrol car that comes back from duty in less-than-perfect condition?

As some of you may already know, Police Chief Simulator and Car Dealer Simulator take place within the same universe. From the very beginning, we wanted that connection to be more than just background lore.

That's why a familiar location from Car Dealer Simulator is taking on a brand-new role. The dealership and workshop many players already know will help keep Winston Springs' police fleet on the road.

Interestingly, the connection works both ways. If you've played Car Dealer Simulator, you may remember Ron Dunn reaching out with requests for vehicles needed by the local police department.

If you haven't seen that yet, you can check out the related devlog here:

Fortunately, a damaged patrol car won't stay damaged forever. Once delivered to the workshop, it can be restored and prepared for future duties.

Repairs take time, so vehicles won't instantly return to service. Even the best mechanics need a moment to deal with the aftermath of a particularly rough patrol.

This is only the beginning of our cooperation, but we wanted to show how the shared universe between our games is gradually becoming part of the gameplay itself.

And this certainly won't be the last familiar place you'll recognize in Winston Springs...
