At the moment, the software structure, so to speak, the "skeleton" of the game, is already ready. The camera, movement system and interface are taken from RedFrozen. For the speed of development. Naturally, with a lot of improvements and overwork. But as a bonus, bugs were fixed in RedFrozen itself and these improvements were used.
The model of the character and animation is also from RedFrozen, because the 3D modeler is a bit of a brake.
But perhaps the main, and in fact the most difficult stage of development has been passed, this is the introduction of a cooperative mode. In fact, I didn't think it would be so difficult to deal with stimovskoy P2P and synchronization. In general, there was a normal lobby, a list of rooms (in fact, it was the simplest) and a cooperative. The positions of characters, objects, and a new task system are synchronized.
Yes, by the way, the task system in the old game did not suit me at all. To implement at least pseudo-nonlinearity, we had to build a garden of crutches. The new one is much better. And in the new RedFrozen update, in quests with the Christmas Tree and Petrovich, it is just used (but not in full functionality). Now the tasks have nothing to do with the dialogs, they may not be sequential, and run simultaneously. In addition, it is much more convenient to synchronize them in a cooperative.
Finally, you can do the plot and interface design. Ps do not look at the interface design, it is completely replaceable. The titles are such that it would not be sad to develop :D
