fixedI have found and fixed a rather severe memory leak in my sound engine where some memory was not being freed after it had been streamed in. Apart from some files such as the ambient loops in Loot With Your Friends this mainly affected music tracks.
changedThe game then would crash for anyone with in-game music on just playing long enough (depending on how often music played) and the game window would just either close silently/ immediately or a DirectX error message would appear.
changedThis bug has been in the game ever since and probably caused hundreds and thousands of crashes for all kinds of players. Sorry for not finding it sooner!
fixedIt has been fixed in the recent version v2 - Patch 12 .
