What is InterfaceX26

More than 150 developers and publishers have come together to launch InterfaceX26, a week-long Steam sale and livestream running from April 27 to May 4, aimed at bringing more visibility to interface-driven and “Fake OS” games.

Alongside the sale, the event includes a live showcase on May 2, featuring dozens of new and upcoming titles. The showcase highlights innovative experiences built around digital interfaces, dystopian systems, and narrative-driven gameplay.

Plobania 47/B has been selected as a main feature of the showcase lineup, standing alongside other emerging titles in the Fake OS genre.

What is Plobania 47/B

Plobania 47/B is a dystopian document-checking simulation set in the year 2199, in a world where immortality has led to extreme overpopulation and strict government control.

You play as Milton Clarke, a registration officer working in a Mandatory Sleep Hospital. Your job is to review citizens’ documents and decide their fate, whether they will be approved for “sleep,” a state that closely resembles death in a society where no one can truly die.

To do your job, you also have to use government-approved Plobintosh, an in-world operating system that you use daily as a registration officer. Through Plobintosh, you process citizen files, access internal tools, review documents while surfing on the internet.

Each day, new rules, documents and ethical dilemmas emerge. Some citizens accept their fate. Others don’t. Your decisions shape not only their lives but your own.

Genre:

Simulation, Narrative, Dystopian, Fake OS, Dark

Features:

  • Inspect documents and make life-altering decisions

  • Experience a dark dystopian world inspired by bureaucratic systems

  • Navigate an in-game computer system with multiple applications

  • Face moral dilemmas with no clear right answers

  • Dynamic rules and evolving gameplay each day

  • Rich worldbuilding with hidden stories behind every character
