Q: Do I need to purchase the Chinese version separately?

A: No. All players who already own Please Be Happy will receive the Chinese update for free.

Q: How do I switch the game to Chinese?

A: If you have previously installed the game, you can right-click it in your Steam Library, select “Properties” → “Language,” and choose your preferred language.

For first-time installations, the game will usually follow your Steam client language automatically. If the game launches in a different language, you can also change the language in the in-game “Settings” → “General” menu.

Q: What does the Chinese localization include?

A: This update includes full Chinese language support, including Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, for all story content, branching storylines, UI, and system text.

Q: Will my save data be affected after the update?

A: No. Existing save data remains compatible and can continue to be used without restarting the game.
