Hey guys, developer here.

I wanted to thank you for trying out the demo version of the game and providing valuable feedback.

I have made several adjustments and improvements based on your feedback, which will be available in the release version of the game. Here's a preview of some of the new features:

  • Added 'Modern' controls: While I feel that the tank controls are more suited to the game, some players wished for an option to use modern controls. This will be particularly useful for those using a controller: Left Stick against using a D-Pad (tank controls)

  • Added a mapTo help with navigation, was added a simple level/map layout to help you orientate the game environment. -- though it's not available for every level ;)
  • Added map hints: This is an optional feature that shows the key positions of items, which should help with puzzle-solving.

  • Improved puzzles: I tried to make some puzzles more user-friendly, especially the first code puzzle.

  • Updated UI/UXI have updated the 'Notes' screen and the UX when viewing and navigating notes.
  • Visual options: It is now possible to decrease the pixelation effect, though it is not possible to turn it off completely due to the retro aesthetics of the game.

  • Optimized the game: I have worked on making it run faster on low-end hardware, and I am still testing it using my integrated card (Intel UHD 630).

  • Added other small game improvements: I have made further improvements to the game to give it a final touch.

Here are a few potential ideas I'm considering (possibly after the game's release):

  • Introducing a female skin for the game character. Spoiler:

This won't affect gameplay or the storyline.

  • Implementing easy difficulty mode: Although the game isn't overly hardcore, this idea could attract a wider range of players. ?...Just a thought.

The game is set to be released at the end of January, and I will keep you updated with any news.
