While you wont be able to play Ranked or crossplay with the current live version, you will have full access to singleplayer and multiplayer with other Linux users who are on the same branch.

Introducing the LABS Public Testing Environment

The LABS PTE is a new initiative where we will be pre-releasing new and experimental content for public testing via the Steam Betas function.

Joining public testing grants you:

  • Early access to new features, units, mechanics, maps and more

  • Show off your unique PA Chat icon and Discord role

  • Ability to provide feedback directly to the Community Commanders in exclusive discord channels

  • And finally, for players who consistently help with testing, a unique custom Commander: the one and only Kapowatz!

Steam P2P

We have added a new local hosting system using Steam's networking that should resolve issues where your friends fail to join your lobby. Downloading server mods will take a bit longer but we aim to improve it over time.

To access this branch, right click PA in your Steam Library -> Properties -> Game Versions & Betas -> Linux_live

Bug Fixes

  • CosmeticPotential fix for the Commbug has been releasedv124642
  • New range indicator colors have been temporarily removed with a fix expected shortly v124642 - New range indicator colors are now back

  • Coldbox has been removed from ranked while we investigate the cause of reported crashes.

  • Some server mods (e.g. Exiles, Sunrise) that use new features will not work in the short term

  • Leaderboards info panel has been updated

  • Grabbing and moving CSG brushes no longer resets their vertical height
