Update 1.18.2 is now available for download. Simply update your game before you play! This release contains bug fixes and updates.

General

• Resolved a compatibility issue with a Windows update that could cause the game to crash.

Staff

• Fixed vendors occasionally getting stuck in a cycle of heading to modular gift shops without being able to enter them.

• Fixed staff facilities displaying incorrect signs in the Frontier Zoo scenario.

Animals

• Updated IUCN classification of African penguins to list them as 'Critically Endangered' species rather than 'Endangered'.

• Fixed Formosan black bears being unable to use the frozen fish enrichment item.

• Fixed range maps inconsistencies for various species.

• Enabled use of burrows for arctic foxes.

• Added hanging animation to the African leopard.

• Reduced the minimum group requirement for the Red Crowned crane in keeping with real life zoos.

Plants

• Fixed 'Plants' displaying incorrect foliage coverage in the Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman Environment tab.

• Fixed incorrect fulfillment of otters' plant requirements when there is water in the habitat.

• Added 'Taiga' biome tag to the White Birch tree.

• Added 'Taiga' biome tag to the Polylepsis tree.

Franchise Mode & Frontend

• Disabled the quick sell button for juveniles of domesticated species.

• Excluded animals in the Trade Centre from the calculations for average animal welfare and the zoo reputation's animal rating.

Help, UI & Notifications

• Updated the legal text for 2025.

• Fixed naming issues for some animals in Japanese.
