Repeated intro
Hey hey delilah, why’s your bed walking around? I am Cacaul and my favorite band is ‘Guilty Gear OST’ (even with the unconventional name). Today I am here to bring you unfortunate news: me and the guy yanking my chain have made a level that we just can’t beat; we’ve tried solo, co-op, with the whole dev team (all two(2) of them) and we never made it to the end.(;´д`)ゞ

addedBefore I add to that tale of misery, let me spin you a different yarn of sorrow: my week. My fellow spectrum-residers, it has not been a good time so far. All my packages are delayed, there’s a holiday today that I forgot about and I made two levels with my monitor turned on its side (bossman was not all that satisfied to say the least).😵
addedAlso, can we talk about how sometimes you run into a mental block that stops you from seeing the changes in the environment? For example, I was so concerned with making a new level that looked better that I just didn’t realize all my floor tiles were swapped. Sure, they still look the same, but number 33 changed places with 156, so how am I supposed to focus now?
addedPutting all of that aside, we also got a new member to our fantastic team - we now are a proud FOUR 🔥💎🤸♀️🕵️♀️. And the first thing we got done? Some good ol’ playtesting. Turns out Plan B4 was indecipherable to someone new - the gameplay felt just too alien coming from outside. So now we’re changing things up to make it more approachable, including better starting missions, visual indicators and plans for early access release. Yeah, but uh… Keep that one between us, alright?
changedTo say more about the game, we’re working on some boss-enemies you’ll find at the end of your runs (more on that later 😉), so get ready to work yourself out. Also, now we have secret 'unlockables' you might find inside some missions and upgrades to give you an upper hand (such as ways to recover health, wider range of pickups and more). Now you too can perform better without getting better, just like me! Steam post image PlanB4 you understand me so well… It HAS been a rough one.
changedBack to the topics that matter, remember that friendly bear from like a month ago? Good times. Anywho, I’m thinking about changing all the blood in my body for oil and half of my biggest organ for metal; it’s all a big ‘meet in the middle’ idea for finding the divine in the flesh and the machine. Still, it sounds like a whole lot of work, and I’m lazy so consider that postponed for a while.

Steam post image Walk around and find out! What you find out is that your aim becomes unreliable and your shots get probably wasted. 🛑

Steam post image This reminds me of a time I went to the bank. Not to do anything really, I just walked to it and went back home. Yeah, I miss having doors.

This was a weird week, but there’s no bear with me. Join our discord! I’m sure the people responsible are a little more grounded mentally:
