Announcing the Inner Mirror beta test

Inner Mirror Beta Test

We've gotten a lot of inquiries about the upcoming beta for Inner Mirror, so we wanted to let you know.

We're expecting the beta to open on February 7 at 23:00 Pacific Time.

Unlike the main release, which will be updated on the 15th, some features are not yet available in the beta. We aim to have all unimplemented features implemented by the end of the CBT, but they may be deferred or changed depending on development. The following features will not be implemented in the CBT

• A balance system where you get human or demonic effects depending on the perk you choose

• A system where your character's appearance changes based on the balance system

• Mirror help tooltip

• Shows the stack of perks

• Visual effects for some perks

• Sound effects for some perks

• System for rewarding potential points in Fire and Brimstone

• Display of potential points earned when leveling up

• English and Japanese translations of perks

However, you can still try out all 25 of the new perks in Mirror, most importantly the Inner Mirror. We hope you'll give the new perk system a try and let us know what you think about the balance of the perks and what you think we can improve on our Discord channel.

How to run a beta test

1. Right-click on the Pixel Gun Master in the Steam Library, then open its properties.

1. In Properties > Beta > Beta Participation, change 'None' to 'betatest - Beta Test'.

1. Notice that it has changed to 'betatest - Beta Test' and close the properties window.

1. Play the game, noting the [betatest] appended to the game title.

p.s To return to the full version, replace 'betatest - Beta Test' with 'none' again.
