🗣️ This is Daisy speaking. This message goes out to everyone who chose to stay in San-Blockcisco despite the evacuation order. I don’t know whether it’s bravery or naive overconfidence keeping you here — but we might need your help.
⛑️ The anomaly that formed over the city is far more dangerous than anything we’ve dealt with before. Field tests confirm its radiation causes unpredictable distortions in the surrounding reality and has a severe impact on anyone exposed. The affected radius is expanding, and soon there won’t be a single safe place left in the city.
⚡ We need to act.
👁️🗨️ So far, all attempts to contain the anomaly have failed. According to the task force’s working theory, our only chance to shut the rift down is to reach its epicenter. The very eye of the storm.
☢️ We’ll need protection against the radiation. We’ll need a team willing to go in. We’re working on that.
