Demo Update 1.4.3
This update brings together all improvements since version 1.3.0, including a better ability assignment, UI polish, and many bug fixes.
What's New
Arrow keys can now be used to select pioneers for quicker and more precise ability assignment.
Pioneer selection has been replaced with a direction filter, making it easier to assign abilities to the right pioneer.
Ability buttons now show visual deny feedback (shake and flash) when clicking a depleted ability.
A "Time's Up" message is now displayed when the level timer expires.
Pioneers with abilities now render above other pioneers for better visibility.
Boulders no longer fall during the level countdown.
Improved smoke particles and explosion effects.
Improved tutorial text clarity for levels with multiple entrances.
Multiple level rebalances and visual improvements.
Bug Fixes
Fixed ability button staying visually raised after assigning its last use.
Fixed an error sound playing when clicking pioneers with no ability selected.
Fixed overlapping pioneers receiving multiple abilities from a single click.
Fixed the Play button activating on level hover instead of click.
Fixed level select panel not receiving focus correctly when re-entering.
Fixed game speed not resetting when quitting to the main menu.
Fixed crystal chain reactions continuing during pause.
Fixed rendering order so falling pioneers without chute appear in front of those with chute.
Fixed incorrect capitalization of ability names in dialogue and translations.
Fixed keycode values for pan controls in input configuration.
