To avoid technical problems, please uninstall the game and all files from the root folder and install the game again.
Also, in order to prevent video playback problems, install this video codec: https://sourceforge.net/projects/senriska/files/Complete/Codec%20Package/wmv9VCMsetup.exe/download Unfortunately, Steam does not allow to install this distribution automatically after installing the game.
