Two weeks since Pilot Tycoon launched on Steam, and the wishlist response has exceeded all expectations! Thank you for the incredible support!
Major Updates:
Night Operations - Added the first pass of airfield lighting for taxiways and runways, bringing nighttime operations to life.
Dynamic Weather - Implemented a complete weather system featuring rain, thunderstorms, and fog. Naturally, I had to test landing in zero visibility conditions!
UI & Systems - Enhanced schedule bidding interface and improved the scheduling algorithm for better route assignments.
Runway Traffic Management - AI aircraft now properly share runways with realistic hold-short queuing. Landing aircraft request clearance and reserve runway access. The player aircraft is fully integrated into this system.
Aircraft Features - Added gear retraction/extension animations for regional jets.
Fixes & Optimizations:
Resolved AoA indicator display issues on widescreen resolutions during takeoff
Optimized terminal NPC performance
Fixed hub airports incorrectly loading as small airports in external scenes
Completely overhauled the aircraft camera system for improved performance
Enhanced AI aircraft performance optimization
