The rules

  • Create a puzzle on the theme "SCORE"

  • The puzzle has to be a colour nonogram and be 15x15 sized!

  • The puzzle has to be validated and published to the Steam Workshop

  • Do not create inappropriate puzzles, or ones based on existing IP owned by litigious corporations

  • You can submit as many puzzles as you like

Theme

Because June is Score Studios' birthday, the theme is "SCORE". However, as with the previous competition, creative interpretations are welcome! You can either create puzzles featuring or inspired by your favourite Piczle characters or games, a Piczle memory, or indeed a wish for future Piczle games.

But "SCORE" can mean so many things! The rewards of a big heist, twenty of something, video game points, whatever you can think of! Let your imagination run wild!

NOTE: The "theme" selection from within the puzzle creator is not relevant to this competition.

Judgement

Judgmental as ever, I will be keeping an eye on the following qualities when selecting my favourite puzzles:

  • Creative interpretation of the theme

  • How pleasing the final image of the solved puzzle is

  • Regardless of difficulty, is the puzzle fun to play?

Colour puzzles don't really require a separate solution image, do they? I won't be judging on artistic skills. As always, whether or not the puzzle is fun to solve and the solution is a fun surprise will be the main things to aim for!

The prize

As with the previous competition, selected puzzles will be included in their very own puzzle pack, guaranteeing more players will see and enjoy them! The creators of puzzles included in this pack will unlock profile cosmetics: a custom profile style and a profile sticker (1st, 2nd, 3rd place and runner-up stickers). The top 3 will also get their own "James says" factoid describing why that puzzle won.

How to enter

Once you've created, validated and published a puzzle to the Steam Workshop, select the Creator Competition button from the main menu. A selection of eligible puzzles will be shown for you to select. Once you've clicked on the one(s) you want to enter...that's it!

If you're not seeing this button make sure you've updated to version v0.097 or later, as seen just above the title on the main menu.

Happy puzzle creating, everyone!
