changedIt's been a long time since we've written any news about the progress of the Update 0.3, so we decided to let you know what we've been up to lately. By the way, information about development progress in our Roadmap is updated more frequently, though without details. We'd like to tell you about development progress much more often, but our plans have changed too many times to be able to state anything with certainty. This update was not our intention from the beginning, so we had to come up with all the mechanics, features and functions from scratch. We hope that further development will go easier and its goals will be clearer :)
addedWe are happy to announce that we are already at the finish line. The development was complicated, we had to make a lot of changes to the source code and write a huge number of new features. In fact, we created two games and merged them into one. In addition, some of the implemented features will allow us to start creating two new villages faster.
addedOne of the most notable new features (besides the Hero himself) will be the new Quest Log. Throughout the game, you will be able to receive various quests that will teach you game mechanics or give you specific objectives. You will receive certain rewards for completing these quests.
changedUpdate 0.3 will introduce a Notification System. Any event that requires your attention will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can open the Notification Log to see a list of all recent events. By clicking on a notification, you will be able to see the location where the event occurred (e.g., the location where your settler died or a newly constructed building).
changedDemons have also been updated. Now your village will be attacked not only by the standard demons, but also by their unusual versions. For example, the Destroyer Mage who attacks the area with magic.
addedThere will be 16 new achievements in the game (one hidden).

We are happy to announce that we are already at the finish line. The development was complicated, we had to make a lot of changes to the source code and write a huge number of new features. In fact, we created two games and merged them into one. In addition, some of the implemented features will allow us to start creating two new villages faster.

There will be a lot of changes in the Update 0.3. Here's a quick overview of what we've been up to lately:

One of the most notable new features (besides the Hero himself) will be the new Quest Log. Throughout the game, you will be able to receive various quests that will teach you game mechanics or give you specific objectives. You will receive certain rewards for completing these quests.

Update 0.3 will introduce a Notification System. Any event that requires your attention will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can open the Notification Log to see a list of all recent events. By clicking on a notification, you will be able to see the location where the event occurred (e.g., the location where your settler died or a newly constructed building).

Demons have also been updated. Now your village will be attacked not only by the standard demons, but also by their unusual versions. For example, the Destroyer Mage who attacks the area with magic.

There will be 16 new achievements in the game (one hidden).

We've also repainted all the backgrounds with new and better quality backgrounds.

There are many more changes and new features awaiting for you in the Update 0.3, such as improved support for resolutions above and below 1920x1080; display of zones not available for building; new Hero-related cutscenes; balance changes; UI improvements and bugfixes. You can see the full list in our Roadmap, or wait for the Patchnote.

All of the new features planned for this update have been fully implemented and tested, and all that remains is to fill the game with content - creating new events, hero encounters, and equipment sets. However, we have set the release date for Update 0.3 - it will be released in October 2023.

In addition, please note that on September 5, the cost of the game will be increased from $10 to $12, and regional prices will be updated. As a result, the cost of the game may become even higher in some regions.

Finally, we've prepared some gameplay footage from the Hero Encounter (fighting bandits) for you. Please keep in mind that this shows mechanics that are still in development.

Thank
