!!NOTICE!!
**Your save data will be deleted in the NEXT update unless you open the game during this update. This is because I am switching to a new save system that uses Steam Cloud! Leaderboard scores will not be affected.
Version 1.0.1 is ready, and it's got lots of nice stuff in it. This update does not include Phaze 4 or beyond, but that will be coming very soon! I just wanted to get out these features as quickly as possible.
**PHAZIKA now uses Steam Cloud syncing, meaning your progress such as Arena upgrades will be saved across all devices, and is stored more securely and less hackably :) This means that the old save system is being removed, and any data saved there will go with it. However, I have implemented a system to transfer your old save data into the new system automatically, so as long as you open the game once, you should see no difference. The only problem is that I can't leave this save transfer system in the game forever, or else all the new security is useless. So, your data will be available to transfer to the new system only until the next update, which should be in about a week or two. With that, here's the rest of the update:
2 new music tracks, so each Phaze has its own!
Music is now selectable for the Arena: you can pick any Phaze's song
2 new achievements for speedrunning Phazes 2 and 3
2 new Arena items associated with each achievement
Steam Cloud save syncing and file security
Phazes 2 and 3 made slightly easier in certain parts (small adjustments)
There is now a 1.5 second invulnerability window after dying in the Arena
Arena money is more available in early game, but less available in late game
Arena Explosion Radius bonus (including shop) reduced 15% -> 10% (mainly to nerf magic chain)
New main menu UI which will allow for expansion with more Phazes in the future!!
Arena Info panel now shows automatically when opening the Arena tab (can be disabled)
Some new sound effects
A little better controller support (still need to work on this)
Dying before the first checkpoint resets your timers
Lots of bug fixes and visual fixes
