Hi everyone,
what a coincidence! Exactly four weeks after the last minor update I am proud to announce the arrival of the new game mode "Classic Plus" which enhances the existing Classic Mode by the following new features:
New enemy: Poisoned spiders
They walk on the ceiling and sometimes climb down on its thread.
New potions
Anubis‘ magic potion of speed
You speed up on walking and climbing for a short time.
The protecting elixir of Imhotep
You will be invulnerable for a short time.
More levels
There are breandnew handmade levels and also
an integrated level generator for unlimited variety
An atmospheric background-design
If you play in Classic Plus mode, your playfield is surrounded by hieroglyphs of the ancient pyramids. Can you decipher them? You can have a look on it on the screenshot-section on the shop-page.
Bugfixes
Problem with ghost wandering through outer walls
Rats always starts in the same direction
Some internal optimizations, refactorings and minor bugfixes
Updated Manual
All new elements are described in the updated manual here on steam.
Initially it was intended to add new weapons too but this has been deferred to see how the current new features fit in to avoid an overloading or misbalancing.
But the development of the Classic Plus Mode isn't finished yet. There are a few more things to come I promise ;-)
