Phantom beast is all about dark badass Pokémon-like creatures and you don't just send them out like a coach you fight alongside them shoulder to shoulder like a real team-mate. it all started from crazy idea about a video game and a TV show
I actually wrote the pilot and the bible for this TV show. It too me about 18 months and 10 drafts until everyone said: "this is some epic S**t right here". but somehow Netflix and Amazon ain't really standing in line to make this super expensive TV show so I did what every normal person would do: quit my job and start my own indie game.
lucky me I've been joined by some very talented guys along the way: Guy Nagar, Dor Ben Dor, Moshe Gilboa, Zevik Perry, Ido adler and Alon Talmi. we're getting enormous help from ilya one of the best concept artists I've seen. hands down is the best team I've ever worked with.
Now the game's narrative takes place about 20 years after the events of the TV show it follows hunter, who is helping the resistance, being chased and forced into the quarantine zone. he's about to die from immense amounts of radiation and then Timogo a Gorilla / Owl - Phantom, who's also working with the resistance... he needs hunter to stay alive.
So Timogo decides to save hunter by combining the two of them together in one of the first successful connections between humans and phantoms. from that point on they become each other's special abilities, but inside hunter's mind Timogo starts to sniff around and he's got some dark secrets over there i'll tell you that... some past traumatic events that hunter is keeping locked away from Timogo and the player.
