Thanks to your feedback, I've seriously refined how the game plays. Instead of posting a separate announcement for every small patch, I wanted to share everything that's been fixed and activated over this period all at once. In short: the world expanded, physics and camera got a major overhaul, guidance was improved, and roughly 8 A4 pages' worth of bugs were squashed.

Dear players, as promised, I'm continuing to update the demo I launched early to improve the gameplay almost hourly. Thanks to your feedback, I've seriously refined how the game plays. Instead of posting a separate announcement for every small patch, I wanted to share everything that's been fixed and activated over this period all at once. In short: the world expanded, physics and camera got a major overhaul, guidance was improved, and roughly 8 A4 pages' worth of bugs were squashed.

World

  • The right wing of the neighborhood is now active.

  • The bubble hint system is now active.

  • The mechanic is now available.

  • The tool vendor is now available.

  • Many collider issues were fixed.

  • Visual optimization was increased, work is ongoing.

UI & User Experience

  • Many UI issues were fixed, more to come.

  • A large portion of the missing translations were added, the game now runs almost entirely in your language.

  • Camera issues were fixed.

  • The flash during scene transitions was fixed.

  • Quest and tutorial tracking was improved.

  • Guidance and warnings were improved.

  • Dialogue interfaces were enhanced.

  • Tutorial interfaces were enhanced.

Note: A known batch of UI improvements will be released very soon.

Storage Depo

  • The physics experience changed and was updated significantly.

  • Gameplay was made easier thanks to assists.

  • The camera was improved.

  • Peter now actively guides you.

  • Gameplay was made more intuitive.

  • Tool usage and warnings were updated.

  • The vehicle cargo area was updated.

  • The amount of loot in the depot was balanced.

Chase

  • Vehicle physics were improved.

  • When your vehicle's HP runs out, your cargo is no longer fully wiped. only 25% of it spills onto the road.

  • Traffic moves more smoothly and predictably.

Shop

  • Customer behavior was improved.

  • Shelf placement and editing were improved.

  • Assists and guides were added.

  • Mini-games were improved.

  • The camera was changed, it now moves more freely.

  • The number of customers was increased.

General Bugs

  • NPC duplication was fixed.

  • Save issues were fixed.

  • The settings menu was fixed.

  • Jane's follow behavior was fixed.

  • Peter's house was fixed.

  • ...and roughly 8 A4 pages' worth of bugs were squashed :)
