Survivors!
We know many of you had August 21 circled on your calendars, ready to escape the summer heat with the launch of Permafrost Early Access.
However, today we need to share the news that we are moving the Early Access launch to the 9th of October 2026.
We want Permafrost to be the experience you deserve from the moment you step into the cold. To get there, we need a little more time to polish the rougher edges, character and animal animations and behavior, lighting, and the smaller details that make for a great time.
We know a delay is never what you want to hear, and we're sorry to keep you waiting. But we'd rather let it chill a bit longer than serve up something half-frozen. The extra time will be worth it, and we can't wait for you to feel the frost.
