changedShop items now do what they sayAll four consumables (2x Points, Rep Shield, Mountain Dood, Borton AV) were being cleared the moment you left the shop, before the first post of the wave you bought them for. Spam Filter was sold as PERMANENT and its only effect was a one-time bump that decayed on its own. Both work properly now. Their prices have never been playtested against working effects, so tell me if the shop economy feels off.

Shop items now do what they say

All four consumables (2x Points, Rep Shield, Mountain Dood, Borton AV) were being cleared the moment you left the shop, before the first post of the wave you bought them for. Spam Filter was sold as PERMANENT and its only effect was a one-time bump that decayed on its own. Both work properly now. Dennis Sharp finishes his story

57% of campaigns ended without seeing the last phase of the arc in the wave named after him. Wave 6 now guarantees the whole thing, and the arc only moves forward on encounters you actually read. His climax also used to render behind the server maintenance screen, at 15% opacity, with the sting playing under a pause.

The forum remembers who people are

The same username could show up twice in one shift as two different accounts, with different post counts, different records, and different score multipliers. One name, one identity, for the whole shift now.

Every generated profile also had exactly zero prior warnings, which meant Known Troll was unreachable and §18 applied to nobody. Warnings now generate properly, so §18 has users and skipping a known troll's bannable post costs you.

Feedback that agrees with itself

TOUGH CALL, RISKY and OK were amber in the toast and green in the Mod Log and the Shift Report. Three surfaces, two answers. Also:

  • Locked tools now read as locked instead of just looking grey

  • The NEW! badge waits until the tool is actually usable

  • The probation notice used to block every button in total silence

  • Threads show their time to meltdown

  • The citation picker no longer offers three rules that were wrong 100% of the time

  • The screensaver stopped dropping over a shift that was still running

Browser Hijacked

The achievement needs fifty popups at once. The browser soft-locked at five and stayed there. Both ends are fixed: the pile can grow, and hitting fifty actually clears it and drops you back on the home page instead of just playing a sound.

Desktop build

The music player opened but played nothing at all in some packaged builds. The build tooling was rewriting code it should only have been renaming, and it was a lottery which feature drew the short straw. Turned off. The first boot also plays the whole startup sequence now (every boot after that skips with ESC), Save As in Pant works again after editing a pre-loaded photo, and the folder art is a megabyte lighter.
