Perikoto changes
The voice on the radio sounds unusually cheerful, and lists the following changes:
Major performance improvements
Among other things, removed the crow's nest they had built on your CPU cooler (the bird AI was doing too much stuff)
Also optimized rendering, meshes, materials, collisions and lights
More performance issues, such as the cave lagspike and low framerates around the house, are on our radar and will be improved in upcoming patches
The intro sequence now only plays when a new game is started, not on every launch
Improved a clue text in early game
Improved some visual effects
Added more instructions to the intro sequence
Added an effect to unfound important items
Added some more bushes to the birch forest
Added more icy slopes to interesting locations
Moved "Delete Save" and "Reset Settings" buttons in settings to a less dangerous location
Removed redundant checkpoint from the beginning
Fixed settings not being saved between launches
Fixed the snowstorm area's door not fully opening
Fixed the house's windows being emissive during endgame sequence
Fixed hand pockets being visible in dark space, making it possible to lose items there
Fixed an issue where the monster could be right next to you when respawning
Fixed the flashlight alerting the monster through walls
Fixed some clipping objects and floating trees
Fixed some broken textures
Updated dependencies
Thanks for playing Perikoto!
