changedAfter reviewing a lot of videos from streamers and test players we've made some major improvements:
addedThis game was never intended to have any "pixel hunting" elements. As such we've made important objects more visible with new sprites and new animations to draw attention to them. This keeps the player focused on their goals and the language aspect of the game.
changedSome players (understandably) find the hunger and thirst system frustrating at times. And whilst this isn't primarily a "survival game" those survival elements are an important part of the gameplay and game mechanics. Regularly accessing your food and drink makes it easier to remember some crucial vocabulary. That said, the way it was implemented had a lot of room for improvement. Those improvements have now been added. You will now be introduced to the hunger/thirst system earlier in the gameplay but you will not have to eat or drink as frequently. We believe this is an ideal compromise.
