Citizens,

We need to speak plainly.

Pax Autocratica will not enter Early Access on May 7.

We know we have already moved the date before, and we understand that this news is frustrating. Because of that, we want to be direct: we are postponing Early Access again, and we are not announcing the new release date today.

Our current plan is still to launch this summer, but the actual release will happen only when the build is ready.

Recent development has focused heavily on addressing player feedback and improving core parts of the experience. While these changes are moving Pax Autocratica in the right direction, they still require additional testing and balancing before we can responsibly launch.

This is not about chasing perfection, it is about overall launch readiness.

The next steps will be:

  1. An updated version of the Demo (coming in the next few days)

  2. A closed playtest (recruitment details coming soon)

We want to thank everyone who has submitted reports, feedback, and field observations. A significant portion of these reports has directly influenced the work currently underway.

The additional time allocated is not disappearing into a black hole. Some of the recent improvements based on player feedback include:

  • Base loading times reduced by over 50% (optimization still ongoing)

  • Improved early-game flow, immersion, and tutorial clarity

  • Expanded large-scale battlefield encounters

  • Improved enemy and ally behavior

  • Improved building tools:

    • drag-and-drop construction

    • better snapping

    • smoother placement flow

  • Expanded construction flexibility (including different stairs and foundations)

  • General gameplay polish and balancing

For now, the Steam page will return to Coming Soon while we continue this work.

We understand this delay is disappointing. However, the State will not deploy unprepared.

Thank you for your patience, your reports, your continued support, and keep an eye on our next broadcast for the demo update and playtest recruitment.

Further directives will follow soon.
