addedSteam post image#LionessyFriday Many (but not all) cities in Lvir are connected by sea. That means you can fast travel from one city to another. Of course, you first have to trudge over on your own paws to unlock the route for the first time. The attached image shows the Ta-Kemet ship—not a trading vessel, but a warship built for the story. Ooff, assembling this little ship is so much fun... just like back in the day when people glued model ships together for hours and had a blast doing it. Naturally, in the game it's not just thrown in as a single sprite—it has to be assembled like a model kit so the oars sway independently on the waves, and the sail and ropes sway in the wind. I feel just like "Alyosha" from the movie Dust (Pyl); he loved stuff like this too. Next up is placing the lionessy slave rowers—I probably need some in the back as well, though the main thing is not to overload the scene. They definitely add a ton of ancient atmosphere right away, so I need to cram more ships into the game :3
