Pawns of War changes
Dear Players,
The next major update 1.0.2.0 will bring to the game a new story event dedicated to the subject of Operation Desert Storm - "LOCATOR". This update is still in development, so this announcement is informational.
Major upcoming changes:
(Will appear in the next update 1.0.2.0)
1# Story event:
The event will consist of a set of story and combat missions. There will be a special currency awarded for completing them, for which you can buy items available only during this event.
2# New turn-based combat system:
Now the player and the opponent will take turns one after the other. There will be mini-combat tasks, special actions depending on the character's class and weapon.Steam post imageSteam post image
3# The return of unique animations:
All pawns will receive a unique animation when they fall out of the loot box or get an MVP-status at the end of the battle.
4# New pawns and weapons:
A new unit and weapons from the story campaign will be added.
5# Achievement System:
Adding new achievements. They will be displayed in game and you can get rewards for them. Steam post image
Planned changes:
(They will not be presented in the next update, but there are developments for them.)
The main storyline campaign.
An encyclopedia of pawns, weapons, and other items.
Changing modules on weapons that adjust the characteristics of weapons.
Changing clothes on pawns (Head, Uniform, Body Armor, Special item).
Detailed rework of the mechanics of maps where battles takes place. Introduction of climate, time of day and state of the environment (you will have to pick clothes on the pawns).
Adding vehicles as a unit, which will require a crew of pawns.
Characters for pawns, the opportunity to communicate with them, increase trust and train for battles.
Tree-like development of the camp (perhaps, selection and arrangement of the base).
The introduction of squad cards (for the new combat system), unique cards.
Changing the loot box, replacing it with a production pool, where the production of an item begins from the three resources spent.
