addedWith Rise of the Village Hero now at version 1.0, I’m excited to shift my focus entirely to Path to Serenity. First, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who played the demo during Steam Next Fest and added the game to their wishlist—your support truly means a lot to me!
changedI’ve been working hard to implement the feedback I received from the festival. One of the key improvements is the addition of subtitles while Jim speaks, making the game more accessible. These are still being refined, but I’m pleased with the progress so far.
addedI’ve also focused on improving the overall gameplay flow to create a smoother and more immersive experience. For example, I’ve added reminders to help players navigate tasks, addressing feedback about being stuck—such as in the office chair task. Additionally, I’ve introduced subtle fade-in animations to better communicate the passage of time after certain tasks, enhancing immersion.
addedRight now, I’m working on finalising the last level’s tasks and objectives. My next step is testing and polishing, which I anticipate will be a relatively short process. After this initial phase, I’ll likely continue adding more content before repeating the testing and refinement process.
changedDevelopment is progressing well, and I’m also working on enhancing the Steam page, so expect to see more gifs and improvements in the coming days.
