The Final Demo Update Is Live!

First of all, thank you to everyone who has played the demo of Path of Gear: Blacksmith’s Legend. We’ve received a lot of feedback along the way, and we’ve also seen where players were running into friction during play.

This update will be the demo’s final update.

We took another pass through the issues that came up most often and the parts that were getting in the way of the overall experience, and did our best to make the demo smoother, clearer, and easier to jump into before full release.

What’s New in This Demo Update?

1. The title screen and village visuals have been reworked

We redesigned the title screen and gave the village area a visual overhaul as well.

Some players told us it was too easy to accidentally hit “Quit Game” on the title screen, so that has also been adjusted in this update.

2. Stages now look more visually consistent

In earlier demo versions, some players pointed out that parts of the stage art felt inconsistent due to mismatched pixel proportions.

We’ve gone back and adjusted the pixel scale across the stages so the overall visuals feel more cohesive.

We also enlarged the forging interface and moved it from the left side of the screen to the right, making it easier to use during play.

3. NPC dialogue is easier to follow now

All NPC dialogue now includes character names.

That makes conversations easier to follow and helps avoid confusion about who’s speaking during story scenes.

4. Combat visuals are more readable

Previously, it could be hard at a glance to tell how many slots a weapon would take up, which made setup decisions less intuitive.

With this update, each weapon now displays its slot size directly, so preparing for battle should feel much clearer.

5. Player skill information is now shown where it should be

Before this update, the player skill display wasn’t very noticeable, and some players didn’t even realize the system was there.

We’ve moved that information to a more visible location so it’s easier to understand and use naturally while playing.

EA Release Date Announced!

Path of Gear: Blacksmith’s Legend will officially launch in Early Access on April 29.

This final demo update feels like the end of one stage for us.

From here, our focus shifts to expanding the Early Access version and continuing to build out the game through future updates. We’ll keep working to make it into something fuller, stronger, and more complete over time.

If you’ve enjoyed Path of Gear: Blacksmith’s Legend, please consider wishlisting the game or supporting us when it launches.

Thank you again for playing, and thank you for every bit of feedback you’ve shared with us along the way.
