Due to low interest in the game and limited player activity, the decision was made to discontinue the project (no, no one is planning to shut down the project ːsteamhappyː), but the regular update interval will be changed.

From the game's Early Access launch until February 2026, in addition to minor updates, regular updates were released monthly, including new content.

A total of 22 regular updates were released, out of a total of 160 updates.

Starting in March 2026, regular updates will be released at least ONCE PER QUARTER, until the game leaves Early Access and enters Full Access.

Breaking updates, as well as bug fixes and other minor changes, will continue to be released at any time, regardless of the main update cycle.

Despite the increased update schedule, it will not affect plans for adding new content to the game, and all roadmap items will be completed before Full Access. A brief roadmap can be found in the game's description on the Steam store page.

Where indie studios typically abandon projects, Pastor's Lake will live on, no matter what.

Sincerely, the developer of Pastor's Lake: The Game
