Pass the Fear changes
Pass the Fear will be participating in Steam Next Fest
This version includes experience optimizations based on feedback from the last test, covering online functionality, adjustments to the fire-type treasures, balance tweaks, and improved combat feedback, aiming to provide a better experience for everyone.
The overview of changes is as follows:
New Content
- New CharacterElena, temporarily removed Jenny;
New BOSS: the Beast Tamer;
New Weapon: Flame Curse;
- New FeatureOnline Lobby (test). You can now enter other players' rooms from the lobby. Please try to join rooms with lower latency; the new online feature is still under testing, so please bear with any issues.
Gameplay Optimization
- System OverhaulThe weapon upgrade system has been redesigned. Now you obtain fragments by dismantling weapons and accessories and use the fragments at the blacksmith to upgrade. Upgrading weapons now adds a new attribute while keeping the original one.
- Combat Performance OptimizationChargeable weapons now have a charge bar for clearer progress; combat vibration feedback has been optimized, and a vibration intensity option has been added in the settings (if the default intensity feels too strong, please reduce it); sound effects for some weapons have been optimized.
New Feature: You can now long-press E to unequip your off-hand weapon.
Balance Adjustments
Major adjustments to fire-based treasures;
Some adjustments to Tarot cards;
Specific adjustments to the Tarot series treasures;
Adjustments to certain weapons;
Reduced difficulty of Hard Mode.
