Development Update
Hey everyone. Here's a video showing off the current state of the game.
Vehicle AI is looking pretty good. There will be tweaks here and there but for the most part, vehicles drive where they are supposed to and park (better than most if we're honest)
Lighting is also looking awesome but I need to spend some time tweaking the Eye adaption so that when the sun sets it doesn't look like a remake of "Cocoon"
NPC AI is working. Npc's have individual destinations, which change depending on what activities are available for them to do, which is partly where the upgrade system will come in to play.
Once I have all the key elements in place I can start optimizing things. This was originally recorded with the game running in 4K at Maximum Graphics settings, in the Editor so It'll already run pretty well on most platforms.
Vehicles will be remade and I'll be adding a bunch of new and better ones to add variety as well as some cool new features TBA later.
Not shown in the video is the ability to clean dirt from surfaces including car parts, which will allow the all important bird poop cleaning mechanic to be sorted later.
The carpark on display in this video is The Tier 3 upgrade, which is low-mid tier. Maybe I'll show off more upgrade levels in future videos.
