Is there a game or is it all staged gameplay?
ANSWER
The game actually exists. A number of people who have been active on our social networks have already been selected for the first iterations of testing. The entire video is entirely gameplay. The game is currently in active development, so what you see in the trailer is not the final version. Anyone of you who wants to get into the ranks of testers, if we notice his activity in our social networks and support.
QUESTION
Why is the trailer low quality/shows small FPS?
ANSWER
Indeed, the trailer was recorded in 1080p, on an NVIDIA Geforce 1050 graphics card, and the game was set to High Graphics settings. I haven't paid proper attention to optimization yet, so to try out the game, at medium graphics settings and in 2K, you will need at least NVIDIA Geforce 1070. Keep in mind that the demonstrated locations in the trailer, are not the final version.

Will the game really come out?
ANSWER
Paranormal Records is indeed a game and it will see a release in late 2023/early 2024 according to preliminary plans. It is being developed by one person, but with a lot of personal experience and several released games. Therefore, don't worry about the fate of Paranormal Records or Nefolium. Both projects are in an active production phase and will be released as early as this year.

There were so many similar horror games announced, how is your project better? Why isn't your game a clone of any?
ANSWER
Paranormal Records is an independent game that does not copy or try to copy anyone else's ideas. All accusations or comparisons of this game to its competitors are false accusations, having only watched the 40 second trailer. I actively follow competitor projects and in my opinion and based on the opinions of people who have already played it, I can say that Paranormal Records is really distinctive and not like other games.
In what way is this expressed? First and foremost, the story. To write the story, was invited a writer who will pay enough attention to it that the plot will interest you and leave a pleasant impression. YES! THERE ARE NO HARSH SCREAMERS IN THE GAME! But that doesn't mean there will be nothing to scare you. Let's remember the game Darkwood. It doesn't scare you with screamers, it scares you with its story, world and atmosphere. To answer the question about the screamer from the trailer, I would like to say that this screamer is from the early builds and it's long gone in the game. I put it in, just because I thought it was appropriate for the end of the trailer. I made a mistake.

The game is unique for a number of reasons. The uniqueness lies in the story. The story does not copy or parasitize
