Hello commanders!
We’re launching the Playtest #2 right now, and it will run until Monday, June 1 This time we’re not doing a big public announcement. We want to run this playtest quickly and quietly, and we’re not using key distribution for this playtest Access is limited, and only a certain number of players will be admitted. If you’ve already submitted an application, please check your email or Steam to see if you’ve been granted access If you don’t get access this time, don’t worry. A public demo will be available very soon. It will include the same content as Playtest #2, so you won’t miss anything important
What’s new and improved compared:
Added a dedicated tutorial mission that introduces core mechanics and controls in more detail
Implemented a full save/load system, allowing you to save and load at any point
Improved UI and unit control systems: -- Replaced toggle switches with icons (auto-fire, crouch/stand stance, turret view)
Steam post image -- Added a contextual cursor showing when units can enter buildings, mount guns, or load into trucks, etc Steam post image -- Added a towing cursor for artillery Steam post image
--Buildings now visually highlight when units are ordered to enter them Steam post image -- Added a pause indicator and assigned pause to Spacebar Steam post image -- Clicking a building now shows available free unit slots Steam post image -- Added tooltips and contextual hints -- Added a dedicated hotkey for turret view -- Updated health bar colors for better readability 4. Added zoom functionality 5. Shortened the active part of Phase 3 in the main mission for better pacing 6. Continued active bug fixing and overall polish improvements
