Big news!
After a long time of deciding where to take the game, major steps have been taken for the future of PANDA.
New movement system
Instead of just being able to move fast, movement speed is now zone based within each level.
Cleaning up the gameplay loop as well as many behind the scenes bugs
Artistic changes
Many assets were changed either by color or redrawn entirely to better fit the overall desired art style.
Camera fixed
The camera now only leads in areas where you move the fastest and truly need it. allowing smoother transitions between speeds as well as removing the need for it to show behind as the fast sections will only ever need you to go right.
Graphical fixes
Graphical blur was greatly reduced in almost every area. Strides are still being made to try to eliminate it entirely, though with such a low resolution game that is likely impossible.
Quitting during boss fights
Pausing and quitting a boss fight has been corrected. You can now quit out during a boss fight at anytime and load the game to return to it at full health. Doing so does cost one life even if you quit at full health.
With such a strong foundation forming, moving forward updates to the game should become more frequent.
