Today, we're dusting off one of those old recordings and sharing it with you all! Here's a window into where it all started . This marks the beginning of our devlog series. We’ll start by sharing a few devlogs from the game’s early development, before moving into more current updates. In this video, we talk about why we chose to set the game in rural South India . Not as an aesthetic layer, but as the foundation of the world itself. The places, rhythms, and everyday textures you’ll hear about here shaped how we thought about story, characters, and play from the very beginning. The devlog comes from an early stage of development, and some ideas have naturally evolved since then. What hasn’t changed is the core impulse behind the setting: to build a world that feels lived-in, specific, and grounded in a point of view we rarely see represented in games. This is the heart of an idea that refused to stay buried. More devlogs to come, so stay tuned for a look behind the scenes! Join our official discord here: 1312 Interactive Discord Chat with us/ other players! We'll regularly be releasing updates and snippets from the game here.
