Pack and Ship: Warehouse Simulator changes
First, a massive thank you to everyone who jumped into our demo during the recent Steam Next Fest! Your feedback was incredible, and it helped us see exactly where Pack and Ship: Warehouse Simulator needs to go to become something truly special.
We were scheduled to launch on March 30th. However, after seeing how you played and listening to your requests, we’ve made a big decision. We’re not just polishing the game we’re expanding its core.
1. Official Co-Op Support
The most frequent request was: "Can I play with my friends?" We realized that sharing the warehouse makes packing more rewarding. We are officially implementing Full Co-Op Support so you can play with your crew from Day One.
2. Deepening the Automation Systems
We’ve seen how much you enjoyed the mechanical side of the game. We’ve decided to lean heavily into Automation. We are adding more complex machinery, conveyor systems, and automated workflows that will allow you to scale up your base like never before. Designing these systems is fun, but designing them together in co-op is a game-changer.
The Trade-off: New Launch Date (July 2026)
To make sure these systems: multiplayer networking and complex automation work perfectly together without breaking the game, we are moving our release date to July 2026.
Why the delay?
Networking: Building a lag-free experience for multiple players.
Complex Systems: Ensuring that automated machines sync perfectly across all players screens.
We know many of you were counting down the days to March 30th. We sincerely apologize for the wait, but we believe this shift from a solo experience to a Co-Op Automation powerhouse is the right move for the game’s future.
We’ll be sharing DevLogs throughout the next few months showing off the new machines and how co-op is shaping up.
Thank you for building this journey with us. See you (and your friends) in July!
