changedFirst update notes! Last week, I made a bunch of improvements to interactions with playing cards and characters. Let's dive in!
addedCharacter Interactions! Most noticeably, Edith now reacts to gameplay: celebrating victories and mourning defeat. You may also more generally notice all the characters reacting more, since I added additional emphasis on reactions.
addedCard Interactions! New animations and interactions should make playing your hand should feel more dynamic. The card drop area has a new design, and the cards themselves react on-hover.
addedI also added an option for "Single-click to play a card." This will replace the default "double-click to play card" behavior, but either way, you can also still drag cards to play them. This should make things more comfortable for players who are used to playing traditional card games on their computers.
fixedThe version number now appears in the bottom right of the title screen! I always appreciate feedback and bug reports, and have especially appreciated players asking for version numbers so that they can be sure they aren't reporting bugs that might have already been fixed.
addedPlayers occasionally found themselves repeating Edith and Wanda's Grand Slam twice in a row, so I added a fix for that. Another intrepid player realized that "single-click to play a card" and spam-clicking actually allowed them to mis-use ability cards like "Swap" and "Bridge Overlord."

And other stuff...
The version number now appears in the bottom right of the title screen! I always appreciate feedback and bug reports, and have especially appreciated players asking for version numbers so that they can be sure they aren't reporting bugs that might have already been fixed.
Players occasionally found themselves repeating Edith and Wanda's Grand Slam twice in a row, so I added a fix for that. Another intrepid player realized that "single-click to play a card" and spam-clicking actually allowed them to mis-use ability cards like "Swap" and "Bridge Overlord."
